Mr. Znaimer was elected to the CARP Board of Directors and will serve as Temporary Executive Director replacing Co-founder Murray Morgenthau who is recuperating from surgery. Executive Vice President Eric Vengroff of the new company advised that Mr. Znaimer will step aside following the appointment of Mr. Morgenthau’s successor.

The CARP acquisition complements Moses Znaimer’s goal “to create and dominate all mediums that cater to the 50-plus demographic”, according to DigitalJournal.

Mr. Znaimer is best known as co-founder and executive producer of City TV. He recently acquired AM 740 Radio that boasts the largest coverage in Canada, extending from thunder Bay to Eastern USA. AM 740 is known for playing oldies from big bands and 50s crooners.

Mr. Znaimer is also Chair and Executive Producer of Classical 96.3FM and 101.3 FM radio, Toronto and heads up a boutique TV production/distribution company.

Georgian Bay Chapter is excited about what is already brewing in the back rooms of CARP National and look forward to working with Mr. Znaimer.
