Your local chapter relies on its local members for its support so that we may present programmes and initiatives that are important to you. You can support your chapter in many ways: through attendance at the presentations, as volunteers and as cheerleaders for CARP in and around the community. One essential way relates to the annual renewal of your membership.
For existing members, when you renew your membership we ask that you indicate “Chapter 8″ or “CH 8″ on the form. This will be a flag for the National office. New members can help in the same way by indicating the chapter number on the application form. By doing this, the local chapter will receive a financial royalty. These funds received by the chapter assist in offsetting the costs of operating the chapter .
