Toronto Public Library – After School Newcomer Hubs

Toronto Public Library is seeking volunteers to tutor newcomer students in grades 7 to 10 at two After School Newcomer Hubs. Students visit the hubs for free homework help in math, science, English, French, and other subjects as needed. Laptops are available for assignments and research, and gaming and other fun activities can also be enjoyed.

Volunteers can be adults, seniors, post-secondary or high school students, with an interest in helping newcomer youth. Training and supervision are provided.
