In celebration of the Queen’s Diamond Jubiless, there is a concert with both the Boys and Mens Choir as well as the Cathedral Girls choir entitled “Vivat! Vivat Regina!”. There will also be an orchestra to accompany the music by Handel, Charpentier, Byrd and Bach. This is the music that makes Royal occasions so special and so unique. The concert will be directed by Matthew Larkin. This all takes place at Christ Church Cathedral, 420 Sparks St. where tickets are available. Concert time is 7:30 pm. on Friday, May 4th.

Second, is the Choral Evensong, also celebrating the Diamond Jubilee, on Sunday, May 6th at the usual Evensong time of 4:30 p.m. The Boys and Men will be singing music from the Coronation. This particular event is preceded by an English Tea party put on by the ACW and tickets are $15.00. The tea is at 3 pm in Lauder Hall and Evensong will follow in the Cathedral.
