Thursday June 7, 2012 – CARP presented before the Standing Senate Committee on National Finance on OAS changes in Bill C-38. Our three recommendations included to not increase the OAS age eligibility from 65 to 67, to consider other options to relieve budgetary pressures, and to allow a full debate over fundamental changes, such as changes to the OAS.
