The Carpenter Hospice, located in the heart of Burlington, Ontario, provides individuals who are dying, and their families, with high quality palliative care in a home-like setting.

Since opening in May 2002, the Carpenter Hospice has served more than 1,500 residents who have ranged in age from 21 to 103 years. We support people from our community with all types of terminal illness such as cancer and ALS. Our services now extend beyond residential care to our Wellness Program and Bereavement Support Program.

The opportunity to come and live at The Carpenter Hospice is not based on financial ability and there is no user fee. The hospice is dependent on the generosity of the community and fundraising to help cover the annual operating cost of 1.3 million dollars.
