Your credit card or credit card number is stolen or copied illegally. The implications are that thieves can make large purchases and cash advances before the rightful owner of the card discovers what has transpired.

Keep track of your receipts and monitor your accounts frequently. Request your FREE copy of your credit report and in addition add alerts on your credit bureau files by contacting the local credit bureau offices. This will help minimize your risk if fraud occurs.
