Summer News for Central Ontario
We hope that CARP Members in Central Ontairo are having a great summer. There’s been lots happening here at the National Office as we ramp up for a busy fall season.
Please take a look at this newsletter for information on upcoming events and links to your local CARP Chapters. I want to encourage all of you to get involved with a CARP Chapter today.
Our Chapters’ leadership and their commitment to volunteerism is an invaluable resource that strengthens CARP and its members. They facilitate the lines of communication between the national office and members throughout the country and help keep members informed and involved in the policies and priorities of our organization.
CARP’s Chapters provide a means for members to get involved in our mission at the local level and provide an opportunity for members to put their talent, creativity, energy, knowledge and sense of community-spirit to work in the service of their community.
You know your membership supports the mission and advocacy work of CARP in our efforts to promote and protect the interests, rights and quality of life for Canadians as we age.

Have a discerning eye for design? Want to put your product testing skills to the test?
THE ZOOMER, a new weekly current affairs show co-hosted by Denise Donlon and Conrad Black is launching this fall on VisionTV.
Zoomer Media is looking for lively CARP Members to share their personal consumer reviews with their national audience.
As a member of the ‘ConZoomer’ team, you will test and assess the latest gadgets, gizmos, products, tools and devices being marketed to the Zoomer crowd. Then you will present your findings — thumbs up or thumbs down, and why – on the show in an ongoing taped segment.
