Renate Crizzle, our Board member in charge of advocacy, has attended a Hospital Parking Fee Consultation Meeting with the Ministry of Health Long Term Care. The meeting was concerned with the setting of reasonable parking fees in Ontario hospitals, having a “frequent user rate” and to work with the hospitals on capping the daily rate. We will have more on this issue in the near future.
