Halton Chapter continues our tradition of presenting a fun Social Evening in November.  Please join us at either Milton or Burlington where we are delighted to present the “Not For Hire Band” the band that plays Rock’n’Roll, Country and Western and Pop music from the 50’s and 60’s. You will enjoy their vocals and instrumental pieces which are sure to get your feet tapping, hands clapping, and have you singing along.

Band members are all retirees of Dofasco with the exception of their percussion man. They have been playing together for 12 years, in many venues, including Retirement homes, restaurants, outdoor events, annual credit union meetings. Band Members are Fernando Golini on Accordion, Steve Urech on double bass, Cameron Woolvet on Mandolin and Banjo Uke, Peter Cryne on percussion and Russ Moore on Guitar. The band plays many gendres of music from folk to pop, golden oldies, vocals as well as instrumental pieces. Good listening, singalong, and music to dance to. They enjoy playing together and are looking forward to entertaining CARP Halton Chapter members and friends at our November meetings.

There will be a small admission fee of $5.00 which includes a ticket to win one of the several door prizes. You can also buy extra tickets to improve your chances of winning. There will also be our meeting sponsors who will have interesting information for you, and they will also have several door prizes.

Please also bring a non-perishable food donation to support the Salvation Army’s Food Bank.
