Below is an interview with Susan Eng, Executive Vice President at CARP speaking about Forum poll results on Ontario Registered Retirement Plan support on Goldhawk Fights Back with host, Dale Goldhawk that aired on August 18, 2015.

Eng expresses that ORPP is the first supplementary pension plan since the Canada Pension Plan and will offer additional funds during retirement for an average Ontario worker. As these discussions take place during the federal election season, Eng notes that some messaging undermines the net benefit of the provincial plan and that the simple message should be that ORPP will benefit many without workplace pension plans to save towards their retirement needs.
