Kootenay CARP VP visits with Tom Mulcair in Cranbrook

Kootenay CARP Vice President Kevin Dunk had the honour of being invited to join a small group meeting in the Kootenays with Federal NDP Leader Tom Mulcair.

“It was a privilege and a great opportunity to speak about caregiving – something I couldn’t pass up”, says Dunk, who was a caregiver for his mother Aggie for a number of years before her passing earlier this year.  Kevin also took the opportunity to let Mr. Mulcair know that KOOTENAY CARP is now in action, and that we will be encouraging Kootenay members to have their voice heard locally, regionally and federally, in part through participating in CARP’s weekly online surveys.
