Caregivers provide value to loved ones in their time of need and to society generally in unpaid labour that some estimated to value in excess of $25 billion dollars. While providing care to a loved one is a rewarding experience, it also has it challenges and taxes caregivers emotionally, physically, mentally and financially.Unfortunately, the programs and supports currently in place for caregivers are not adequate.
