Ontario Election Health Care Debate

Health care is an election issue. That is why several organizations have partnered to host an all-candidates health care debate as an opportunity to ask questions, and, ultimately, make an informed decision ahead of June 7th Provincial Election.

Each candidate will have the opportunity to share their views on specific health and health-system topics followed by questions from the floor.

According to a new poll conducted by CARP and the Ontario Medical Association (OMA), only 9 per cent of CARP members believe that their children, or children they know, will have better access to health care in the future. Nearly half (46%) of respondents believe that access will be worse in the future. Read more about the poll results here.
