Hello Everyone!

I am proud to announce the appointment of Tom Carrothers as the New Chair of the Halton Chapter Board of Directors. At the Chapter Annual General Meeting in June ’09, Tom and other new Board Members were voted-in with your support.

Tom is now your main contact for information or anything happening with your Halton Chapter. You can contact Tom at [email protected] or (905) 319-6500. Tom has also taken on the Advocacy Coordinator role on an interim basis to carry-on the voice of our members with local and CARP National Advocacy matters.

I thoroughly enjoyed a wonderful year meeting many of the Chapter Members and working with a great Team of dedicated Chapter volunteers. It was been a fabulous journey to transform and move our Chapter to new directions and address many of the issues that the membership asked for at our first Membership Feedback Workshop last fall.

Overall, we couldn’t have achieved so many beneficial events and activities without the overwhelming support of over 20 local and area sponsors. ALL OF YOU ARE TERRIFIC!

Now it’s time for a ‘new look’ professional Chapter Board, led by Tom Carrothers to carry the Halton Chapter into its17th Year and add a new slate of values to over 6500 commited CARP members across Halton.
