I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change
September 8 – November 12, 2017
This celebration of romance takes on the truths and myths behind that contemporary conundrum known as ‘the relationship.’ It explores the journey from dating and waiting to love and marriage, then reveals the agonies and triumphs of in-laws and newborns, trips in the family car and the pick-up techniques of the geriatric set. This hilarious revue pays tribute to those who have loved and lost, to those who have fallen on their face at the altar of love, to those who have dared to ask, ‘Say, what are you doing Saturday night?’

Oh, and… the Macarena. PURE ‘90s features the elite hit-makers of a decade that still feels like yesterday. “Girl Power” dominated the decade with unique vocalists like Celine Dion, Alanis Morrissette, Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston, alongside energetic performers like Madonna, Janet Jackson, and the Spice Girls. Riding high on rock careers built in the previous decade were artists like Aerosmith, U2, and Elton John, including Canadians like Bryan Adams, and later, the Barenaked Ladies. While newcomers to the pop scene, like the Backstreet Boys and *NSYNC, were engaged in a battle of the boy bands. Grab your butterfly hair clips and frost your tips because the ‘90s are back! We’ll page you when your table is ready.
