VIDEO: Justin Trudeau at the CARP AGM

Justin Trudeau, Leader of the Liberal Party, headlined at CARP’s Annual General Meeting in Toronto on October 24, 2014 and hosted a town hall with the leadership of 53 CARP chapters from across the country. Mr. Trudeau announced his position on retirement security – to work with the provinces to increase the CPP and reverse the age eligibility for OAS/GIS back to 65 if elected as prime minister in the upcoming 2015 federal election. In addition, he clarified that the will not touch pension income splitting as prime minister. Watch the VIDEO for his commitments on pensions, healthcare, and other concerns of CARP members.
