Senior indoor season wraps up in Montreal

The national indoor senior tennis events have officially wrapped up for another year with the conclusion of the Senior Eastern Indoor Championships for men in the over-60 and up age categories at Club Sportif Cote de Liesse in Montreal over the weekend.

It was a successful tournament for No. 1 seeds, with top players or teams winning in six of the eight draws. The only upsets were No. 4-seeded Ali Bacha winning in the over-75 singles event and No. 2-seeded duo Shaheer Mikhail and Claude Savaria capturing the over-70 doubles tournament.

James Cameron, a two-time doubles world champion, is going home with two crowns as he was able to secure both the singles and doubles titles in his age group.
