A core part of CARP’s advocacy is representing our members’ interests by engaging in governmental processes.

This could be making submissions, federally and provincially, in advance of the budget.  It could be appearing before committees, or providing input when bills are introduced or debated.  CARP also writes open letters, on its own or with affiliate organizations.  There are many ways that CARP interacts and consults with decision-makers  on critical issues affecting older people in Canada.

Here is a running catalogue of our submissions, consultations and other key documents, organized by year.
