Susan Eng discusses proposed changes to the CPP and if it benefits seniors on CTV Power Play

Click here to view video Government  considering CPP Changes: Opposition calling move ‘last minute attempt to appeal to voters’  featuring an interview with Susan Eng, VP of Advocacy at CARP and Don Martin, host of CTV Power Play, aired on May 27, 2015.  Eng responds to the announcement by describing it as a 180 degree shift and part of election strategy, while also acknowledging that it is a major step for this government  given reluctance to speak on this issue in the past. Eng expresses that CARP wants to see the government take an extra step and make increased contributions to CPP mandatory, to ensure that all Canadians are saving more for their retirement needs.
