Introducing Our New Branding

We are excited to share the news that the Canadian Association of Retired Persons (CARP) is updating our brand!

With a fresh new logo, updated fonts, and vibrant colours, we are enhancing our visual identity to better reflect our commitment to improving the quality of life for older adults across Canada.

Celebrating our 40th anniversary, we are proud to be the leading advocate for seniors, championing essential changes in government policies that impact the lives of older Canadians.

Our rebranding signifies our commitment to representing the interests of the retired, the retiring, and those who are supporting family members with issues related to retirement.

For most older adults, “retirement” means retiring from the full-time employment that paid the bills, helped raise a family, and covered rent or mortgage payments. It never meant retirement from life. That is an ageist point of view. In fact, most seniors are busier than ever with travel, hobbies, volunteering, and family. Retirement is earned over decades of hard work and sacrifice. It is not a condition to be endured; it is a milestone to be honoured and respected.

So we’re giving the R-word its rightful place, perhaps just at the right time. Five million Canadians will be joining this cohort over the next 10 years.

Thank you for your ongoing support and membership in our association.
