Who is this study for?
We are engaging persons living with arthritis and auto-immune rheumatic diseases to complete an online survey.
Why is the FlexCAre Research Study being done?
The current way that patients receive healthcare for their inflammatory arthritis (IA) is outdated, doesn’t meet patients’ needs, and does not use efficiently the limited rheumatology resources and very effective therapies that are now available. As a result, many people are not receiving the best care available, and this particularly affects people facing social inequities. New ways of delivering care are urgently needed that take advantage of new approaches.
What is the goal of this study?
The goal of this FlexCAre survey is to find out what is important to you when it comes to follow-up and continued care delivery of your inflammatory rheumatic disease.
What does the study involve?
Completing an online survey about yourself (takes about 25 minutes). The survey will ask you questions about yourself, your experience with inflammatory rheumatic diseases, and ask you a series of hypothetical questions about care delivery models. You will be compensated for your time.
What will happen with the results of this survey?
The results of this survey will be used by the FlexCAre study team (includes scientists, clinicians, patients, community and supporting partners) to help design new ways to deliver care for people with inflammatory rheumatic diseases.
Who can participate?
We are looking for people who:
●Are 19 years and up
●Have a diagnosis of inflammatory rheumatic disease(s)
●Can complete a survey in English.
