Our Voice is Your Voice, Your Voice is Our Voice

Ageism in the media and popular culture is all pervasive and underscores all the other scourges – whether it is elder abuse, workplace discrimination or neglect in long term care. And this is where the Zoomer aesthetic steps in.

Yes it will be a more positive image of what it means to be 50+, 60+, 70+ or 80+. But with the strength and power of the most important demographic of this and several future generations to come, there is also a new attitude.

We are more educated, more diverse, more tech savvy, more socially conscious and more politically engaged than ever before. And we are not shy about using all of that in service of social change.

Our Voice Is Your Voice, Your Voice Is Our Voice.

The Retired Teachers of Ontario already have a powerful voice. CARP can add its voice to yours and we invite you to add your voice to ours as we together seek the changes in public policy and societal norms that will improve the quality of life for all of us. Our Voice Is Your Voice, Your Voice Is Our Voice.

Thank you very much, Congratulations on your 40th anniversary and best wishes for 40 more years.
