Wednesday February 13, 2013 (7:00 pm – 8:30 pm)

Pickering Public Library,
1 The Esplanade, Pickering,
(905) 831-6265

The Ajax-Pickering Chapter of CARP is collaborating with the Central East Local Health Integration Network (CE LHIN) to provide a roundtable discussion on the new provincial seniors’ strategic plan around the theme of “Community First.”  James Meloche, CE LHIN’s Senior Director of Planning, will be our guest speaker and he will lay out the new Integrated Health Services Plan for 2013-2016 and discuss implications for health care changes in our community.

This seminar will help to keep you informed of the changes in our community and allow you the opportunity to talk to our health care leaders, whether you are a senior, caregiver or a ‘sandwich generation’ parent.  Victoria Van Hemert , Executive Director of Specialized Geriatric Services, will also be in attendance to listen and learn from the community.

This will be the first of a series of health care seminars that will include discussions with Rik Ganderton (RVHS), Brent Farr (Community Care Durham), Don Ford (CCAC) and key experts, such as, Victoria Van Hemert (Regional Specialized Geriatrics) and some of our primary care physicians.

To register, please RSVP to [email protected] or call 905-509-1708.

Seating is limited!
