Federal and provincial policy-making that affects older Canadians is more important now than it has ever been.

In May 2017, Canada’s National Census revealed that for the first time ever, seniors outnumber children in Canada. There are now 5.9 million Canadian seniors, compared to 5.8 million youth, 14 and under.

Now is the time to join 300,000 Canadians like you who trust CARP to ensure their voices are heard.

CARP continues to evolve the ways to use and maintain an active membership that can appeal to our members’ different needs.  That’s why we’ve introduced the CARP Digital Membership, and you’ve been selected to participate in this controlled test at no cost.

The CARP digital membership provides all the same benefits and access to information about  CARP’s advocacy initiatives, money-saving benefits, and community events as a regular membership, but without any printed materials sent to you by mail.

This means that:

  • All communications will be sent to you via email
  • Your CARP Membership Card, and quarterly Member Benefits Guides will be provided in a digital format
  • CARP Benefits Partners have been instructed to accept your digital Membership card
  • You will be able to access your membership materials at any time via CARP’s customer care portal at

We hope you will remain part of this new digital membership, and provide your valuable feedback along the way.

Of course, should you wish to cancel your free, 2-year digital membership, please contact our call centre at 1-833-211-2277.
