The Seniors Resource Center was founded based on consultation with the community via a questionnaire, and through on going consultation with the President of Brantfords 10 Presidents Councils.

Brantford CARP Chapter supports The Seniors Resource Center and are currently holding their monthly executive meetings there. The Brantford CARP Chapter hopes to help with fund raising activities to help support the efforts of the Senior Resource Center.

Volunteers have played a major part in the operation of the center. They account for the day to day coverage of the office. Site maintenance and internal cleaning is being done by other volunteers

Many other community agencies and organizations have supplied their time, talents and material for the Seniors Resource Center to use.
