We believe that there needs to not only be awareness and education but that there also needs to be action on this issue. In the coming months, we will be consulting with the Federal Government as well as reaching out to our chapters and involving them in future initiatives. We need everyone to be involved in ending elder abuse. One of the first steps should be to tackle the root of the problem: ageism.
