Patient Partners in Arthritis is a program that is used in 12 Canadian universities as an adjunct in the education of medical students, residents & allied health care providers. All volunteers in the program complete an in-depth training program to prepare them to lead these sessions. Volunteers must have a diagnosis of arthritis and feel comfortable talking about their disease and interacting with all levels of health care providers.
