The majority of CARP members are very concerned about the health of Canada’s pension system and their own prospects in retirement, and these feelings have grown strong in the past months.

Members’ concerns about this issue trump political affiliation as majorities would either support of defeat the government depending on its support for pension reform.

Members would be willing to e-mail their elected representatives and watch them carefully in coming months to support their demands for pension reform.

The Conservative party is favoured by members and there has been a sharp decline in the proportion who would support a coalition government in the next Federal election.
