Moncton Inagural CARP Meeting Saturday Sept. 25th, 2010

Moncton Area CARP Chapter To Be Launched

Mark your calendars now!

There will be a new local voice for seniors. For twenty-five years, CARP (A New Vision of Aging for Canada) has worked at the national level to improve the lives of Canada’s maturing population.

There is a new president, media icon, Moses Znaimer, and under his direction, local CARP chapters have been springing up in all parts of the country. Now it’s Moncton’s turn.

On Saturday, September 25, at 2 p.m., plan to attend the launch of the Moncton Area CARP Chapter. Meeting will be held at the Lion’s Community Centre, 473 St. George St., Moncton.

Everyone is welcome. Come along and say hello to Chapter Chairs, Peggy and Peter Humby and meet former NB CARP reps Louise Gilbert and Wayne and Barb Harrigan.

This is a new and exciting venture for advocacy in the Greater Moncton area. You are invited to be part of it!
