Join Us For an Educational Event…. “Bone Shui By Design” Learn How To Safeguard Your Home Against Falls

For women with osteoporosis, a fall can be fatal.

Known as the silent thief, osteoporosis affects one in four Canadian women and one in eight Canadian men over 50. The reality is, it can occur without symptoms, so many women don’t even know that they have osteoporosis until a bone breaks.

Falls may lead to fractures, which can rob a woman of her independence and ability to carry out day-to-day activities. It is important for the millions of Canadians affected by osteoporosis or those caring for a loved one with osteoporosis to ensure their homes are free from hazards that can lead to falls. The good news is that osteoporosis CAN be treated effectively and falls can be prevented.

Internationally renowned interior designer Kimberley Seldon, bone health expert Dr. Aliya Khan, MD, FRCPC, Osteoporosis Canada and CARP will tell you all about the things you can do to design your home to protect your bones, known as Bone Shui By Design. Don’t miss your chance to learn about better bone health, and to win a free CARP membership – register today!
