CARP members prefer the NDP (and the Liberals) for most party platform issues related to older Canadians

When members are asked to directly compare the party platforms for their effectiveness in four areas of key interest to older Canadians, the Conservatives are not preferred for any, the NDP are preferred for health care (31%), support for caregivers (32%) and eliminating poverty (28%), and the Liberals are preferred for pension reform (32%).

More than 4600 CARP Poll™ panel members responded to this poll in less than 24 hours between April 16 and 120. The margin of error for a sample this size is plus or minus 1.4%, 19 times out of 20. That is, if you asked all members of the CARP Poll™ panel the identical questions, their responses would be within 1%, either up or down, of the results shown here, 95% of the time
