Please find below an invitation from Scott Stewart Acting City Manager for Burlington:

 “It is my pleasure as Acting City Manager to invite you to join us next Thursday, for an interactive workshop on the city’s 2012 budget. As a participant, we would like and encourage you to share your ideas on the budget in a variety of ways through group discussions, as individuals and key pad polling (electronic voting devices). 

 As highlighted in our new (draft) strategic plan,  “We want Burlington residents to be proud of their local government. To be confident that the City is well managed, forward looking and responsible.” Together we can strive for this goal and one of the ways to do that is to have you join in with us as we contemplate our 2012 budget.

We look forward to your input.
