Members of your Chapter executive were on hand to celebrate the first Volunteer Recognition Fair hosted by the Semiahmoo Peninsula Seniors Planning Table (part of the United Way) and Sources Community Resources Centre.

The fair was organized to invite older adults to explore volunteer opportunities in the community. An appreciation breakfast kicked off the day with over fifty people in attendance. Two prominent guests spoke about the personal satisfaction and benefits they have derived from volunteering.
