Is there someone in Burlington – an individual, business or organization that deserves recognition for their achievements to create a more accessible city?

The Burlington Accessibility Advisory Committee invites you to nominate individuals, organizations, and businesses in our community who are outstanding champions of accessibility for the City of Burlington’s first annual Accessibility Awards.

Submissions can be made until April 27, 2012. Nomination forms are available at City Hall, your local library branch or community centre. You can also nominate online. More information can be found by clicking on this link

The awards ceremony will take place at the Burlington Performing Arts Centre on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 as part of the city’s National Access Awareness Week celebrations.
