Canada’s Man in Motion continues to inspire.

Winding up the Many in Motion Relay to celebrate the 25th anniversary of his Man in Motion World tour, Rick Hansen visited White Rock on Saturday night.

Denice Thompson and myself are pictured with Rick as he continued to inspire the crowd of participants and admirers.  Everyone can make a difference is his message and he oughta know!

Twenty five years ago, $26 million was raised during his original Man in Motion tour.  Today the figure is up to $245 million going towards research, rehabilitation and quality of life initiatives for Canadians with spinal chord injuries.

What an incredible and personable man he is.  A true Zoomer if there ever was one!
