Information posted December 28, 2012

The following quotes from the Sevice Ontario website:
The Ontario Photo Card is a government-issued photo identification that allows people who don’t drive and are 16 years of age or over to access government, financial or business services that require proof of identity. The Ontario Photo Card makes it easier for Ontarians to perform activities requiring official photo ID.

The Ontario Photo Card can now be obtained at Service Ontario Centres across the province. You can apply for an Ontario Photo Card if:

  • you do not drive,
  • you are a resident of Ontario, and
  • you are 16 years of age and over.

You will need to bring to a ServiceOntario centre identification documents that prove your legal name, date of birth and signature.
