Are you a senior? Do you sometimes feel your day can feel so long and unproductive because there is nothing to do? Well we would love to have you join our team of volunteers at Spectra Community Support Services within the TeleCheck Seniors Program!

TeleCheck provides phone calls to seniors who want someone to socialize with. These seniors are isolated, have mobility issues or are lonely. We all need human companionship and your phone call will give them that. If you have the time to listen and be there for someone who needs to just talk please become part of our TeleCheck family. We need you.

To be eligible to become a TeleCheck volunteer you must be able to attend training which will focus on topics such as understanding aging, elder abuse, mental health, active listening, crisis and suicide intervention. The training is designed to prepare individuals for this volunteer opportunity.
