We are looking forward to meeting you at our November 12th. General Meeting this week at 1:30 p.m. Chapter #53 Winnipeg East.

You will get a first hand look of your new Executive for 2015. Even you might be interested in assuming a position with this slate of nominated officers. Elections will take place at this meeting.

I just returned from the AGM (Annual General Meeting) in Toronto, and many members of CARP across Canada, who represent some 300,000 members who were present there, have some really interesting backgrounds from the 60 Chapters in CARP. They are individuals like yourself who want to give back to the community to make Canada better for us all, and for the generations to come. It is great to have CARP as the vehicle in order to do this.

Through Advocacy, and by way of helping our Community, we can promote and protect the interests, rights and quality of life for Canadians of all ages.

Aside from the Elections, we will also have a report of some of the interesting views that were expressed at this AGM on various topics.

We will also celebrate November Birthdays of Members. The 50/50 draw will take place, and a discussion of our Annual Christmas Luncheon in December.
