Mark 2 PM, Friday, July 24th on your calendar. That time is CARP Lanark County Chapter 55 Day at the Perth Classic Theatre Festival. In their sixth season the festival returns to the theatre facility at 54 Beckwith Street East (the hall at Perth’s historic St. James Anglican Church). A pre-show talk starts at 1:30 PM to explain the history, story, background and social and cultural context of the play. Neil Simon’s comedy Barefoot in the Park starts at 2 PM. Tickets for CARP members are discounted to $28.
