The Canadian Association of Retired Persons Mississauga Chapter is hosting a full day of free events jam packed with activities to help maintain your health and vitality for you to thrive in your senior years ahead.

the event is scheduled for Jan. 13 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Centre for Health & Safety Card Innovation.

CARP is a national non-partisan non-profit organization committed to advocating a new vision of aging for Canada. There are over 300,000 CARP members across Canada and s building a strong spirit  of inclusiveness within their membership, celebrating all people.

The days events will provide valuable information and tangible experiences to help better your body, health, and mental alertness. Throughout the day, attendees will get the opportunity to learn what proactive approach you can take to better prevent or how social engagement is paramount to ones emotional and mental health, various exercises from Chair/Laughter yoga, meditation and strength training, how to make healthy nutritious snacks/meals with the instructions from a local nutritionist/dietician, and to visit over 25 exhibitors showcasing community information and services.
