SPRINT Senior Care is launching a Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual,  and Transgender (LGBT) Educational Series on Aging to address topics that are significant to older LGBT individuals and their caregivers. The educational series will be addressing the following topics and how they relate to LGBT Older Adults:

(1) Aging, Memory Loss, and Dementia.

(2) HIV / AIDS and Aging.

(3) Elder Abuses.

(4) Future Care Planning.

(5) Transgender and Aging.

(6) Financial Planning for Late Life.

(7) Culturally Competent Care in Long-Term Care Homes

(8) End of Life.

The Educational Series is set to start on Thursday, April 14, 2016 from 6:00pm to 7:30pm and will occur each Thursday for 8 weeks at the same time. The Educational Series is open to everyone and you do not need to attend all sessions. You can choose to attend only those sessions that suit your interests. Those who are interested in participating are asked to RSVP.
