On October 12th, Wanda Morris and Natasha Mistry spoke to a group of 40 people interested in re-initiating a Chapter in the Okanagan Valley.
The presentation led to a candid discussion on the burden of care caregivers face.
There was strong interest in a possible caregiver allowance in B.C, similar to Nova Scotia’s means tested support program.
