SURVEY: Help Shape AGE-WELL’s Priority Areas
We have now begun a strategic planning process that will enable us to define our priorities for 2020-2025. Throughout the summer we have been engaging in dialogue with stakeholders across Canada through “network renewal roadshows”. The huge turnout and interest in AGE-WELL activities has been both humbling and extremely fruitful for shaping our renewal planning efforts. It is important that we address the needs and interests of our varied stakeholders as we strive to be a national and international leader in technology and aging.
Your voice is important! We need your help to shape the future strategic directions of AGE-WELL to ensure that our work is truly responsive to the needs of Canadians.
We invite you to complete an online survey to identify the Challenge Areas (or priority areas) that will define AGE-WELL’s research and network activities from 2020-2025. We have prepared short write-ups of the 18 Challenge areas and we would encourage you to read through them prior to answering the survey.

STUDY: Caregivers Wanted!
Caring for a loved one or friend with a chronic health issue can be a big commitment and have a serious impact on a caregiver’s own health and well-being. Caregivers often sacrifice their own well-being to meet care receivers’ pressing needs. We want to hear from CARP members who are caregivers because your voice matters to us.
Tell us about your personal goals and priorities for your own health, social, and financial well-being in our online survey being conducted in collaboration with AGE-WELL NCE (Canada’s Technology and Aging Network), HUDDOL (Canada’s first bilingual social networking platform for caregivers) and CARP. Your participation in this survey is completely voluntary. Individual responses are treated as confidential and anonymous and will never be reported in any way that can identify you as an individual. It could take 20 minutes to finish the survey depending on how detailed your answers are. Your responses will help AGE-WELL researchers inform policy, programs and product development of technologies that will enhance caregivers’ well-being and support you and the person in your care.
