For the first time ever, the Government of Alberta is funding the best-in-class flu vaccination for seniors in care settings this fall.

This announcements comes after CARP met with the province’s Health Minister last November. 

We will continue pushing governments to make the high-dose flu vaccine, proven to be most effective in protecting seniors from the annual threat of seasonal influenza, free and accessible for all older adults, both living in and outside of care homes, in every province/territory.
