Keep active by exercising 20 to 30 minutes three to five times a week. “Do something enjoyable,” she added. Encourage a friend to join you. “Make exercise a priority. Every bit counts,” she said.
Prevention is the only solution for fighting this alarming increase in diabetes among Canadians. And we’re going to have to face up to it. We’ll overwhelm our health-care system if we don’t take care of ourselves now.
