CARP calls for relief for retirees and pension protection in Throne Speech

CARP invited opt-in subscribers of CARP ActionOnline, its e-newsletter, to get involved and make their views known. Hundreds of individual letters are reaching MP’s offices across the country and there has been widespread media coverage

“The Canadian public has identified the need to provide relief and protection for retirees in the midst of this economic chaos. Now we will be watching to see if the government heeds our call for immediate action”, added Eng.

Information on groups watching the Throne Speech across the country together with media availability will be provided Tuesday.
