HALTON HAPPENINGS Extra December 2008 Issue

Quality of Life for an Aging Population – Major Focus by Region of Halton

Halton’s New Strategic Plan includes improving the Quality of Life for an Aging Population as a major issue as we head into 2009 and beyond. A key regional report focused on a compendium of issues for a Sustainable Community includes improving the quality of life for seniors? now and into the future. CARP Halton Chapter is looking forward to inviting officials from the Region in 2009 to present the report findings and discuss how CARP can support and act upon the recommendations for our members and the community at-large.
