What's Toronto doing for its aging population?

He mentions special transportation to get seniors to health care facilities and cultural centres. We even equipped our emergency response vehicles with special sirens because seniors couldnt hear them, so traffic lights would be triggered automatically to turn colour so seniors could stop.

Chapman says Toronto could do more to respond to seniors needs. Changes to intersections are done on a first-come-first-served basis.

Im fascinated with trying to focus on work where its more informed by demographics. If theres a neighbourhood thats aging more rapidly, what can we do? If the sidewalks there need to be replaced, we should give more priority to those neighbourhoods.
