Nova Scotia Pension Submission

From Discussions to Action

The Nova Scotia consultation process indicates that some provinces take the calls for pension reform seriously. Nevertheless, the federal and other provincial governments must continue to work cooperatively to address the urgent need to provide the one in three Canadians who retire without any retirement savings with a retirement savings vehicle that is universally accessible, affordable, adequate and sustainable. CARP’s latest submission urges the Nova Scotia government to think beyond modest proposals and towards changes that will make a real difference for all Canadians as they transition to retirement.
